Cyber Security Week 2021

Cyber Security Week 2021

The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) has, in collaboration with industry stakeholders, organised the Cyber Security Week events for the general public for six consecutive years. Through these activities, we aim to arouse the cyber security awareness of the general public to better protect them from cyber attacks and enhance their cyber etiquette as well to maintain a safe cyber environment for communicating, sharing, learning, entertaining and shopping. The 2021 China Cybersecurity Week was successfully held at Xi’an in October

We have organised a series of interesting events including the “Be Smart Online, Stay Away from Pitfalls” GIF Graphic Design Contest (covering the related workshop, online voting for the Most Favourite Online Award and the award ceremony) and the webinar. Moreover, interesting resources, ranging from cyber security guidelines, best practices and learning materials, developed by organisations including the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF), Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT), Investor and Financial Education Council (IFEC) and Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong (PCPD) are also provided for the general public to better protect themselves against cyber attacks.
