The Digital Policy Office (DPO) is committed to raising public awareness of cybersecurity through a variety of publicity and educational activities. This year, the DPO collaborates with industry stakeholders to organise the 2025 Cybersecurity Awareness Campaign, with the theme of “Let's Secure as we Digitalise”, to echo the China Cybersecurity Week. Through organising a series of activities and providing with relevant learning resources, we hope to promote the public's in-depth understanding of cybersecurity in a more comprehensive manner, thereby strengthening the overall cybersecurity preparedness of the community.

The 2025 China Cybersecurity Week will be held from 15 to 21 September 2025 at Kunming City, Yunnan Province, with the theme of "Safeguarding cybersecurity should be people-centred". Hong Kong will be proactively engaged in making concerted efforts to maintain a secure cyberspace. During the Cybersecurity Week, various activities will also be held concurrently in Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macao. The DPO will also lead a delegation of cybersecurity industry representatives to Kunming, Zhuhai and Macao to participate in the China Cybersecurity Week main forum and related cybersecurity activities so as to deepen exchanges and cooperation among the three regions in the field of cybersecurity.
